Past Ventures: Paparoa Track Adventure Run

In February 2025, after a 10-week training plan, our Paparoa Track Adventure Run crew met at the Blackball ‘Hilton’ on Friday night before a very early start the following day. The next morning, with head torches on, we set out up the track, tackling a long, steady climb to the first hut under a beautiful morning sky. Running along the tops, we were treated to stunning scenery and views for miles. As the day warmed up, we were more than happy to reach the final hut to top up our water before descending to the river and making our way to the end of the track. We celebrated at the finish with a well-earned dip in the river before heading back to the Hilton for dinner and Saturday night entertainment at the local with a live band. With an awesome group of ladies and a memorable West Coast adventure, it was a weekend full of smiles, laughs, and new friends
